Lands of Jail
A major Discord rebuild that began when the community was around 9,000 members, covering server architecture, staffing, moderation, support, engagement and custom automation.

Rebuilding the foundations.
Ryan discovered Lands of Jail as a player. In 2025, with the Discord at approximately 9,000 members, he removed and rebuilt significant parts of the server rather than layering new systems over an architecture that no longer fit the community.
The work included channel and permission architecture, setting up the moderation team, content creator team and Guide Masters, plus custom automation spanning administration, management, support and engagement.
Custom bot systems.
Three functional bot areas covered administration, management and engagement. Their workflows ranged from moderation and support tooling through reaction roles and everyday community automation, with Google Sheets integrations supporting operational processes.
Monarc no longer maintains the Lands of Jail deployment. The case study represents infrastructure Ryan previously built and operated; current member counts are shown only as present-day community scale.
Built as a system, not a collection of channels.
The Lands of Jail case study is intentionally presented without private server screenshots. An approved project logo can be added to this visual later without changing the layout.

Monarc can audit an existing community, preserve what works and redesign the systems that no longer scale.
